Keep In Touch #185

Hi, Friends,
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope you are well.
This week I shared Winter Botanicals with Amber from Follow The Yellow Brick Home.

I also shared an update concerning the kitchen out at our country house.

I'm working on a post about our bedroom here in town. It got a coat of milky white paint.

Now for the features.

I always love CoCo's decor over at The Crowned Goat. Her Valentine's Day tablescape is adorable.

I've wanted to make fake dirt for years.  Check out this post by Cloches and Lavender.

Now for the link up.
Have a wonderful week.

Keep In Touch #182

Hi, Friends,
How are you doing?
I hope all is well with you.
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
We had a quick run out to the new house this past weekend and made it back to town as some snow was heading in.
My brother to the southwest of us got 7". This is what we got. We haven't gotten snow in about three years.
Boo.
I love snow.

I'll have a reveal post of the screened in porch tomorrow morning.

I'm so excited about this space at our new country house.

If you haven't visited this fun tool box blog hop be sure to check it out. All links are available at the bottom of the post with the Inlinkz widget.
It was a very inspirational hop.

Now for the features.

I love review of Stitch Fix items by Paula of Virginia Sweet Pea.
Which items did she keep and what did she send back?

One more Christmas home tour for you from Debbie Dabble Christmas.

Great post about painting IKEA cabinets from @ Home With Ashley
I love the pink!

Keep In Touch #178

Hi, Friends,
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I love this way of keeping in touch with my blogging friends.
This week I shared some Christmas decor in our room

We just got home from our new little house. We got a lot done. I'll be sharing some Christmas decor out there and the progress thus far.

Here are the features.
I love these stenciled Christmas signs by Bluesky at Home.
So cute. The fonts are fabulous.

I also love this sweet treat hutch by Debbie at Debbie Dabble Christmas.

Her vintage collections are amazing.

I also love this Gingerbread themed tablescape by Dining Delight.

How darling.

Thank you to all who linked up last week.
I appreciate all of you.

Keep In Touch #175

Hi, Friends,
How are you doing?
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
Christmas decorating is in full swing over here.
Since Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to look different this year, I thought it would cheer me up.
Whatever you do, do not listen to "Grown Up Christmas List" this year. It made me want to cry like a baby. The governors should get together and ban it for 2020.
It's almost done but I'm not sure it cheered me up.
I told Bill to not be surprised if it doesn't all come down by Christmas day.

If you have been following along, Bill and I bought a house out in East Texas. It is a weekend house right now but it is part of our five year plan to possible relocate out there in 5-7 years when Bill can retire. It's too far of a commute if at some point he needs to go back into the office. There haven't been any recent discussions about that, however.
We spent all last week out at the house painting.

The house color is Alabaster by Sherwin Williams.
The trim is Rookwood Shutter Green also by Sherwin Williams.
I adore it.
I'll be back with a post tomorrow about our progress, future projects, things that I love about the house and property.

I have been so busy that I haven't blogged much but I shared a post about vintage and antique frames as a part of a blog hop.

I'd love it you would check that out and the other links of the hop.
Now for the features.

I've wanted to repurpose a clock for a long time. I thought this one was so cute by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S.

I absolutely love plaid and I think this tablescape by Dining Delight is just so beautiful.

Thanks so much for linking up last week. I appreciate all of you.
Have a wonderful week. Are you decorating for Christmas yet or do you wait until Thanksgiving is over?
Let me know in the comments.

Keep In Touch #174

Hi, Friends,
I hope all is well in your world.
Welcome to Keep In Touch. The party where we like to keep up with what we have going on.
We are out at our new place. I have painted and painted. Every room needs a little something but we are trying to get to a place where we can get our floors. Tomorrow, we head back to the flooring store to tell them what we want. They will come measure and then we get them ordered and on the schedule for install. Once we have floors this will really feel like a home.

Read about week 1 and week 2
In the meantime, we are living with the stained concrete with white paint drips on them I'll have a post showcasing all our progress so far but you can read about it here and here. You can also visit the Thanksgiving blog hop hosted by Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home.

It's fun to get stuff from companies. It doesn't happen often but here is a post that shows a cute wreath and garland that I was able to review.

I needed to get this blog post live but our front porch is now been painted. I am in love and can't wait to put this back out in a few weeks. The fall decor is back out now.

The light was wonky and it rained today so the picture quality isn't the best but you know what? I don't care.
I'd love it if you follow along with this redecoration. Instagram has more up to date changes. You can follow me here.

Now for the features.
I love this post by the Marmelade Gypsy.
Such beautiful images of fall on display.

Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer was my favorite Christmas movie. I love that Debbie Dabble celebrates Christmas on a separate blog.

Since it's likely to be only three of us eating Thanksgiving dinner together, I'll be putting up Christmas decor next week. My outside lights went up last Tuesday.

Now link away, Friends.

Keep In Touch #171

Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I hope you are well.
We are still getting ready for the move to the weekend property in East Texas.
I've been collecting furniture and other fun essentials.
We are almost ready to go. We spent the weekend working on some fun projects.
Bill cut new wood for a trash pick bench and I painted, stained and sealed it.

Last week I was on light fixture duty.
The house was built in 2006 so some of the fixtures are fine. Others just need to look more like us.

Now for the features.
I love this stepping stone by Jeanne at Selep Imaging Blog.

This front porch is just gorgeous.

I love it.
Thanks for linking up!

Keep In Touch #129

Hi, Friends,
I hope you are well.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

I had a busy week.

The inspection went well on the new house so I went through the house looking at what will go.

I don't want to ignore fall decor so a post touring our vignettes will be up tomorrow.
I will also have a post up about why we put an offer in on the new weekend place. I'm still working on that post.

I've been waiting for a glimpse into Amber's new kitchen @ Follow The Yellow Brick Home.
I'm so excited for her.

I love this big front porch from the House On Silverado.

I love both of these posts.
Now for the linkup.
Have a good week, Friends.

Keep In Touch #128

Hello, Friends,
How are you?
Welcome to Keep In Touch.
I didn't blog at all last week but I hope to have a post up by the end of this week.
I've been doing some fall decorating but it is just too overcast for pictures due to Beta.
We got just a smidgen of rain with it. I hope that everyone faired well down by the coast.

I've been collecting velvets for quite a few years. I had a fun afternoon crafting velvet pumpkins and acorns.

It's fun to have the holiday cupboard back in the garden room. It has a majolica theme.
I'd like to thank you all for your support. I hope that this blog is a respite from whatever you face in life.

Now for the features.
I love this idea for a popover for one.
I love popovers - Bill not so much.
I'll have to give this a try.

I love these cake stands from The Crowned Goat. How clever and they look like real milk glass.

Thank you so much for linking up last week.

Keep In Touch #127

Hi, Friends,
Welcome to Keep In Touch. How are you today?
I hope you are well.
This week I worked on a mini bathroom redo. It is nearly impossible to get good picture but I'll try. I have a few touch ups to do and it will be ready.

The only expense was new mirrors. We had everything else.
It was fun to be part of A Lifestyle of Love Hop featuring bottles and jars on Saturday.

I showed off some new antique and thrifty finds

Now for the features.

Debbie Dabble reveals her storage room organized to perfection. Wow.

It looks like a small closet but it holds everything a home needs.

Paula shares some fall printables for you to enjoy.

Thanks for sharing!
